Ve své komerční fotografické tvorbě se zaměřuje zejména na portrét a svatební fotografii. Nicméně krajinářská fotografie a cestování jsou pro něj nejbližším tématem volné tvorby a věnuje se jim přes 10 let.
Organizuje již více jak 8 let fotografické workshopy, fotoexpedice a nejrůznější kurzy a to nejen fotografie, ale i práce s Apple produkty. Měl řadu přednášek na tato témata na soukromých i státních vysokých školách.
Honza je Apple Certified Trainer, Adobe Certified Expert a Adobe Community Proffesional.
